  1. Manufactured in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
  2. These are the only machines in my collection that may have been exclusively made in Canada.
  3. The 3 in 1 came in two versions:
    1. Interior main gear
    2. Exterior main gear
  4. A close look will show that the exterior gear version has only a center hook. There are long pins with a hole in the end where the other hooks would have been.
  5. I have not been able to find out what went in the holes in the pins. However in 1924 Martin Meyer recieved a patent for a rope machine which included a removable pin on what would have been the swivel end of his device to allow removal of the strands.
